About Dr. Katherine Taylor
Dr. Katherine Taylor is the Chief Medical Director for Mental Health and Addiction Services at El Camino Health in Mountain View. She has been the Medical Director of the Brain Stimulation Program and an inpatient attending at El Camino for over 18 years. Dr. Taylor has also held positions as the Associate Medical Director for the Eating Disorders Program, the Older Adults Transitions (OATs) Program and supported the Adult Mood (AMP) PHP/IOP program. She has supervised the Nurse Practitioners on the Consult-Liaison Service at El Camino Health and previously chaired the El Camino Physician Health & Well-Being Committee.
Dr. Taylor completed her MD degree and her Adult Psychiatry residency training at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she holds an appointment as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in Chemistry and an M.Sc. from the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology at Oxford University (Magdalen College).
Dr. Taylor co-author a study published in 2022 about the cognitive impact of ECT on patients at El Camino Health. She is President and Founder of Altos Health Partners, a medical corporation, and is the Medical Director of Concern, an EAP organization.
She is a South Bay Area native, enjoying tennis and skiing.
